‘Crystal clear’, ‘Moving’ and ‘Irresistibly overflowing with drama’. This is how the soprano Tineke Roseboom can be described. A singer who puts her heart and soul into her performances. ‘Every person must do something. I have to sing. I want create other atmospheres for people with music. I want to touch people, delight them or even make them angry. This might give you a glimpse into their soul. That’s why I sing.’

Dutch soprano Tineke Roseboom (1990) studied at ArtEZ Conservatorium under Harry van Berne. Having obtained an international scholarship Tineke is currently being coached by Xenia Meijer, Gary Coward (London). In 2016 she was coached by Emma Kirkby (London) and Gloria Fabuel (Valencia).

In 2016 Tineke presented her first solo CD “El Rosicler”. The CD contains works from G.F. Händel and his Spanish contemporaries.

On account of her enormous interest in different genres of music Tineke has a very extensive repertoire. Tineke is a much sought after soloist for cantatas and oratorios and she radiates enthusiasm during musical arrangements which have been especially composed for her.

As a studio singer Tineke sings primarily game and film music for different composers. She sings amongst others for Hollywood Scoring and composers such as Anne-Kathrin Dern and Klaus Badelt. In 2017 she could be heard during the film ‘the Jade Pendant’ in cinemas internationally and she recorded game music together with the London Symphony Orchestra.

With different ensembles Tineke can be heard in recitals. She has different duos with piano, organ, theorbe/lute and guitar. They perform in intimate chamber concerts as well in the bigger Dutch concerthalls and festivals as the Philharmonie Haarlem, Grachtenfestival Amsterdam, Gotische Zaal of the Raad van State Den Haag.

Tineke sings with professional chamber choirs such as ChorWerk Ruhr (DE), Zürcher Sing- Akademie (CH) and Orpheus Vokalensemble (DE).

Last year, Tineke won the 2017 Ede Culture prize as well as the Woman in the Media Award, Gelderland 2017.
